Paul Hanna is a first-generation Iraqi-Assyrian-American filmmaker, writer, and multimedia artist based in New York City. His work spans narrative films, experimental video and music videos, web art, installation art, and interactive art. He explores the struggle of identity and reflexivity within pre-established systems and bureaucracies, and highlights the dynamics of power struggle in contemporary society.

Paul holds a B.A. in Film and Philosophy from Columbia University and an M.P.S. in Interactive Telecommunications from Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. His films and installations have been featured in festivals, galleries, and public exhibitions, where he continues to experiment with the intersections of storytelling, technology, and cultural memory. He is particularly interested in how emerging technologies can be used to reimagine narrative form and collective experience.
