Week 6
My goal with this poster was to make it look as hand drawn as possible. Having a wacom tablet might’ve been a good add, but I improvised with my illustrations! I used a sharpie on a piece of paper, then scanned it with my notes app and pushed it to my PC, then exported it as a PNG. At first it was in color and there were tons of artifacts, but I rescanned it in a pure black and white and it made my poster incredibly easy to put together after that.
The rest of the struggle in this poster lay within the text—as you can see, I played around with where the text was located, how it was spaced, and so on. I leaned into kerning so I could precisely set my text and make some things fit nicely into the spacing between the computers.
