Intro to Fabrication Week 2

Creating five identical objects

This was quite the difficult task—I couldn’t really fixate on a single thing to make five of that I wanted to be identical. I eventually scrolled and scrolled through pinterest until I was inspired to make small arches.

Here’s a sketch!

I drilled out a hole and you can already see that structurally this wood is not great. Stay tuned for what happens next.

They’ve been cut out! I had to sand each one individually since the orbital sander (is that the one?) was broken. So I needed them to be small enough to dremel. This was the first obstacle in making them identical.

Then, I dropped two of the six. That was the second obstacle. Because they broke.

So I tried  to glue them together. That did not work.

So I went crazy with a staple gun.

With a little bit of ignorance, these are identical.
