This one was much better. The sanding process was tough, as I wanted to use the orbital sander, but I got by with the other ones. My goal was to create an enclosure for incense as well as a place for it to burn. A real two for. I stained it and finished it with a coat of polyurethane to give it a glossy feel, and to make the piece feel more complete. I’d have hit it with a different stain color if I had access to it (I wanted it to be more orange), but made do with the oak stain we had in the community closet.
